Use smart NOTES to keep track of possibilities, and when you want to check your progress, tap the CHECK button — it will remove incorrect inputs and lock the correct ones, helping you stay focused on the solution. With clean design and intuitive controls, Sudoku Vault is the perfect blend of relaxation and brain training.

Sudoku Vault is a free puzzle game that runs directly in your browser — there is nothing to install and no account to create. It works on desktop, tablet and phone, and you can start playing straight away.

Instructions

Use a mouse or touchpad to select a cell then choose a number from the on-screen number pad to fill it in Use the Note button to toggle pencil marks and tap Check to validate your entries mdash incorrect numbers are removed and correct ones are lock

How to play

Work out the solution and execute it. Puzzle games here are untimed or generously timed, so the constraint is the problem itself rather than the clock.

Controls

Input: Mouse on desktop, tap and drag on touch devices
Fullscreen: Use the fullscreen button under the game, or press Esc to leave it
Screen: Portrait — suits a phone screen as-is
